How to Get Robux

Robux is Roblox's premium currency, and there are legit ways to earn it. There's also an endless list of scams that just want your password. Here's what actually works, how much Robux is worth in real money, and the red flags you can't afford to ignore.

1. Premium Subscription (The Reliable Route)

Premium is the simplest option. You get a monthly Robux stipend — roughly 450, 1,000, or 2,200 depending on your tier — plus a higher revenue cut from anything you sell. If you play regularly, the stipend alone makes it worth it. It also unlocks trading and lets you join more groups.

2. Sell Game Passes and Items

If you build Roblox experiences, create game passes — permanent boosts, private servers, cosmetics — and sell them for Robux. You keep a cut after Roblox's share. The best passes solve a real pain in your game rather than a tiny stat bump nobody cares about. Think speed boost, not +1 HP.

3. Developer Exchange (DevEx)

Once your experiences earn enough Robux, you can cash it out to real money through DevEx. You'll need a verified account, a minimum balance (historically 100,000 Robux per payout), and to meet Roblox's eligibility rules. Some games run reward systems, events, and giveaways that grant Robux or items just for playing. Legitimate ones come from the game itself, never a third-party site. If you see "complete a survey to get Robux," assume it's a scam. Because it is.

Scams That Will Steal Your Account

• Free Robux generators — they don't exist. They exist to steal your login.
• "Doubling" services — send them Robux and they vanish.
• Password phishing sites — Roblox never asks for your password outside the official app.
• Fake trade offers — verify the trade window before you confirm. Every time.
• Discord "staff" DMs — real staff don't message you for account info.
