Adopt Me Guide 2026
Everything you need to thrive in Adopt Me. From the latest pet tier list and working codes to trading values and the fastest ways to earn Bucks, this guide covers it all.
Getting Started in Adopt Me
Adopt Me is a social role-playing and trading game built around collecting pets, decorating homes, and trading with other players. When you join, you get a starter egg that hatches into a common pet. Your first goal should be to complete the daily tasks and the starter achievements because they give you free Bucks, food, toys and even extra eggs.
Pick a role in each server. Being a baby lets you complete needs like hunger, fun and sleep for double the Bucks compared to being a parent, so most grinding players choose baby mode for money farming. Equip a pet and keep its needs filled; a happy pet earns you aged-up milestones that unlock tricks and, eventually, Neon status.
Focus on aging up your first four common pets to Full Grown. Once you have four identical Full Grown pets, you can combine them under the Neon Cave bridge to create a glowing Neon version. Neon pets are worth far more in trades and are the stepping stone to making Mega Neon pets.
Earning Bucks Fast
Bucks are the main currency in Adopt Me and you will need a steady supply to buy eggs, furniture, vehicles and pet accessories. The best consistent money makers are daily login rewards, completing the school day-care cycle, and fulfilling your pet's needs repeatedly.
- School grind: Take your pet to school, sleep at home, eat, then repeat. Each need cycle gives Bucks.
- Login streaks: Daily rewards scale up over a week and can include premium items.
- Minigames: Events and mini-games like the ice skating rink pay small but reliable amounts.
- Trading: Buy low-demand items from the shop and trade them for profit after they leave rotation.
Avoid impulse-buying every new egg. Instead, save Bucks for limited eggs and event boxes that retire from the shop, because their value usually increases over time.
Adopt Me Pet Tier List
This tier list focuses on trading value and demand. Limited-event pets and retired eggs pets are almost always worth more than permanently available pets, even when they share the same rarity.
Shadow Dragon, Giraffe, Bat Dragon, Frost Dragon, Owl
Parrot, Crow, Evil Unicorn, Arctic Reindeer, Diamond Pets
Turtle, Kangaroo, Albino Monkey, Queen Bee, Griffin
Dog, Cat, Buffalo, Otter, Robin
A pet's age matters. A Neon or Mega Neon version of any pet multiplies its value. Fly and Ride potions also add value, especially on pets that cannot normally fly. When in doubt, check recent trades in dedicated value servers or community value lists before accepting an offer.
Working Adopt Me Codes
Adopt Me does not release codes as often as some other Roblox games, but when they do the rewards are usually exclusive items, Bucks or limited-time cosmetics. Open the Settings menu and tap the Codes tab to redeem.
Codes are case-sensitive and expire quickly. We update this page after every official Adopt Me livestream or social post.
Trading Values & Neon Pets
Trading is the heart of Adopt Me's endgame. Value is driven by demand, rarity, age and whether an item is retired. A low-rarity retired pet can be worth more than a current legendary simply because no new copies are entering the game. Always use a trade confirmation and double-check the items before accepting.
To make a Neon pet, collect four identical pets and raise each one to Full Grown. Take them to the Neon Cave, place them on the pedestals, and combine them. The resulting Neon pet glows and learns a special trick. For a Mega Neon, repeat the process with four identical Neon pets. Mega Neons cycle through rainbow colors and are some of the most coveted items in the game.
Trading etiquette matters. Do not beg for free pets, avoid cross-trades outside the game's trade window, and be patient. If an offer feels too good to be true, it usually is. Stick to in-game trading and use value servers to get fair deals.
