BedWars Guide 2026
The ultimate BedWars walkthrough for players who want to win more base-building matches. Learn which kits dominate the meta, how to defend your bed, and grab the latest working codes for free rewards.
Getting Started in BedWars
BedWars spawns each player or team on their own island with a bed, a generator, and a shop. Your bed is your life. If it is destroyed, you can no longer respawn. The last team standing wins, so protecting your bed while breaking enemy beds is the core loop.
Start every match by collecting iron and gold from your generator. Buy blocks first to build a protective layer around your bed. Wool is cheap but weak, while wood and stone cost more but delay enemies longer. A basic defense is two layers of wool followed by wood or end stone if you can afford it.
Upgrade your generator as soon as possible. Faster resource generation lets you buy better armor, weapons, and tools before your neighbors. Diamond and emerald generators on middle islands spawn the rarest resources, but they are also the most contested.
BedWars Kit Tier List
This tier list ranks kits by overall impact across rushing, defending, and late-game team fights. Kits that generate free value or enable strong strategies sit at the top.
Barbarian, Baker, Fisherman, Pirate Davey
Miner, Builder, Spirit Catcher, Lumen
Trinity, Bounty Hunter, Ember, Metal Detector
Flora, Freiya, Warrior, Zephyr
Barbarian dominates aggressive players because it upgrades your sword for free as you score kills. Baker generates food that saves shop money on healing. Fisherman gives you a reliable way to pull enemies off bridges, and Pirate Davey scales into the late game with powerful cannon support.
Base Strategy
A good base has layers, not just blocks. Place your bed against a wall or in a corner so enemies can only attack it from a few directions. Cover the bed with multiple block types so attackers need different tools to break through quickly.
- Early game: Two layers of wool and a roof.
- Mid game: Add wood, stone, and a trap zone.
- Late game: End stone, obsidian, and alarm traps.
- Bridges: Build with barriers to block bow shots.
- Bed defense: Never leave your base completely empty.
Rushing is risky but rewarding. Buy blocks and a pickaxe, then bridge to the nearest enemy base. Break their bed quickly and clean up the players before they respawn. If the rush fails, retreat before you lose your gear and give the enemy free resources.
Working BedWars Codes
Redeem these codes from the in-game lobby menu for free kits, skins, and resources. Codes are case-sensitive and expire quickly, so enter them exactly as shown.
Codes expire frequently. If one does not work, it has likely been retired by the developers. We refresh this list after every major update.
Advanced PvP Tips
Winning fights in BedWars is about timing and positioning. W-tapping resets your sprint and keeps your knockback consistent. Block hitting reduces incoming damage in close range. Practice these mechanics in a private lobby before relying on them in ranked matches.
Use projectiles to control space. Bows keep rushers away, fireballs destroy bridges, and TNT blasts through layers of defense. Carry a water bucket to negate fall damage and slow enemies. Pearl rushing with ender pearls is a high-risk play that can end a game instantly if it succeeds.
Map awareness separates good players from great ones. Watch the scoreboard to see which teams have lost their beds, listen for bridge building near your base, and time your rotations to clean up fights between other teams. Patience often wins more games than aggression.
